100 Thieves’ intentions on acquiring Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban had been publicized, as covered, and the official announcement was made by the organization today. With Cryo’s arrival, William "Will" Cheng has also revealed that his contract with the organization has come to an end and he has been released.

100 Thieves have made it to the partnership alongside nine different organizations. They had an interest in changing the roster ahead of the 2023 season and Cryo was on their radar. It wasn’t a well-kept secret as it was already revealed a couple of days ago but the official announcement came today.

On another note, Will has been released and he is now an unrestricted free agent. He was not a part of 100 Thieves’ plans for the upcoming season and the organization decided to release him and let him explore the options. The Canadian player holds a 1.16 rating and a 1.21 K/D since the beginning of his career.

Cryo was a crucial member of the XSET roster. He won the VCT 2022 - North America - Stage 2 trophy and competed in two different international tournaments, including VALORANT Champions 2022 İstanbul. Cryo will be a part of the 100 Thieves squad which will compete against the best teams of North and South America. He currently holds a 1.23 rating with a 1.32 K/D.

With Cryo’s arrival and Will’s departure, 100 Thieves’ current roster is:

United States Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk United States Sean "bang" Bezerra United States Derrek "Derrek" Ha United States Brenden "stellar" McGrath United States Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban

United States Sean "seangares" Gares (Head Coach) United States Michael "Mikes" Hockom (Assistant Coach) United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia (General Manager)
