Disguised started the season with a promising roster and so far saw two wins and two losses in VCT 2023 - Challengers League North America - Split 1. Today, the organization has announced the departure of Drake "Exalt" Branly.

Disguised fail to meet the expectations

After making an impressive start to the season by completing the open qualifiers undefeated, Disguised reached the NA Challengers Split 1 event. The organization dominated the qualifier phase but couldn't keep up against tougher teams. Disguised picked up two wins and saw two losses so far in Group B, placing fourth. Lastly, the organization faced a tough loss against M80, losing the series with a score of 2-0 while winning only five maps in two maps. They maintained the same lineup from the start of the season until today. According to the latest announcement, Disguised have parted ways with Exalt. The Cuban player held a 0.66 rating in his last game wearing the jersey.

Starting his VALORANT career with the Charlotte Phoenix roster, Exalt made his name known under the Knights banner. He spent almost two years for them and competed in the North American regional tournaments. At the beginning of the 2023 season, he joined Disguised and competed for the team during the open qualifiers. Exalt currently holds a 1.20 rating and a 1.20 K/D. He spent the last three months maining KAY/O in official games. He picked the agent 21 times, following the robot; his go-to Agent was Breach, with only six picks.

Disguised will face against TSM on March 17. After Exalt’s departure, the organization's current roster is:

  • Canada Joshua "steel" Nissan
  • Canada Damion "XXiF" Cook
  • Mongolia Amgalan "Genghsta" Nemekhbayar
  • United States Joseph "Clear" Allen
  • Canada Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien (Coach)
