Shortly after his departure from BBL Esports, Barış "Fred" Özdemir has announced that his new home will be Kafalar Esports.

Starting with Zero Zone, fred’s VALORANT career has shifted gear after winning Red Bull Campus Clutch - 2021 - Europe East Finals to qualify for the Red Bull Campus Clutch - 2021 - World Final Stage. He joined one of Turkey’s biggest VALORANT teams, BBL Esports by proving his worth in the competitive stage. However, both Red Bull Campus Clutch and BBL journeys weren’t optimal for the Turkish player as he failed to achieve anything worthy, except winning a regional tournament, Open Fire All Stars 2021. fred is known for his insane Jett plays and achieved a 1.23 rating and 254.6 ACS throughout his career.

In a way, BBL and Kafalar made a player trade which includes fred and Doğukan "QutionerX" Dural. Both players main Jett and they will continue their careers in these two teams. It is still unclear whether Kafalar will make more roster moves in the upcoming days. The team will compete in the VCT 2022 cycle next year but before that, we will have a chance to watch their performance at the Open Fire Legacy.

mAz is another player known for his Jett plays and most recently was fielded in the Regnum Carya Esports team where he helped the team come 2nd place in the Open Fire Last Call Valorant Invitational but apart from his short stint with Regnum Carya, the Turk hasn’t featured in any other headline events in Turkey or Europe. With that being said, Kafalar must see great potential in mAz, at present he holds a 0.99 rating, 203.60 ACS and 134.90 ADR.

Kafalar Esports’ roster consists of:

Turkey Yiğit "ip0TT" Karadeniz Turkey Özkan "p0wa77" Arslantürk Turkey Can "CNKa" Kapucu Turkey İlyas "shapaz" Murat Turkey Artu "Wizard" Köroğlu Turkey Barış "Fred" Özdemir Turkey Duhan "mAz" Ovalı
