We are yet to enter the true age of official VALORANT tournaments, but there is one particular team lighting it up in every competition hosted so far. fish123, home to five tremendous players including Adam “ec1s” Eccles, Dom “soulcas” Sulcas, James “Kryptix” Affleck, Travis “L1NK” Mendoza, and the coach keeping it all going like a well-oiled machine, Connor “Sliggy” Blomfield.

You will notice a player missing as the list only features four players. That’s because Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks left the team out of nowhere. The team announced his departure through their Twitter account and hinted towards news on the status of the rest of the squad soon enough. fish123 has been rumored to be in talks with a number of Tier 1 teams. No one knows where they will land, but their achievements so far speaks for itself.

The news doesn’t really stop here, as just one day after that announcement, ardiis got caught in a cheating scandal. The player got accused of match-fixing and cheating in VALORANT, which is something he has arguably done in CS:GO as well. A Snapchat conversation between him and ROYALS’ player, Jack “kpiz” Pragnell, revealed more information on how he did it.

The report written on the incident shows video evidence of a call between ardiis and 2 cheat developers discussing match-fixing and betting on games with kpiz and DPS, both ROYALS players. Not only that, it doesn’t stop there, as ardiis reportedly even tried to convince the rest of fish123 on bringing a cheater super sub onboard to clutch out tough games when needed.

Speculations so far are on ardiis’ departure from fish123 was for a ‘big offer’ from from reportedly G2 Esports. There is yet to be an official announcement though. Svarenieks already played well with ScreaM and Mixwell during Twitch Rivals so it is not far fetched to see him maybe with them again in the future.

Let us know your thoughts on the incident in the comments section below. In the meantime, take this report with a grain of salt as every cheating accusation is innocent till proven guilty. We will update you with any new information on the topic as it arises.
