According to a report by George Geddes, Dignitas are actively looking for a replacement for Harrison "psalm" Chang. Ex-Moon Raccoons Jett/Operator player Zander "FIEND" Bates is being thrown around as a potential pickup.

psalm and Dignitas have struggled to establish themselves as a top team in North America ever since their signing, failing to qualify for First Strike and not making a single Challengers event during VCT Stage 1, though they were unable to play Challengers 3 due to psalm undergoing surgery. On top of these struggles, their play in other events has been poor as well - most recently, they went out in the group stages of the Pittsburgh Knights Monthly Gauntlet 2021 - March: POT OF GOLD Monthly Gauntlet, going 2-1 with a 13-0 loss to EZ5 and failing to make the top 2 of their group on round differential.

Often cited as a problem for Dignitas is that neither duelist player, psalm or Noah "rara" Giesbrecht, has been a Jett player, when she’s been picked by many other top teams. It seems they’re looking to fix that, as Geddes included in his report that FIEND has been trialing and possibly practicing with the team. FIEND’s Moon Raccoons were a highly successful orgless squad leading up to First Strike, picking up fourth in the Renegades x NSG VALORANT Invitational and second in the Nerd Street Gamers - Monthly October. They were being thrown around seemingly every day as a squad that might be signed by a tier 1 organization, but that never happened, and Moon Raccoons broke up in January. While never the star of the roster, FIEND was always a solid Jett player, and has career-wide stats of 212 ACS and 127.6 ADR. He’s been inactive since the team’s breakup.

With the Stage 2 of North America’s VCT beginning on April 1st, Dignitas have just under a week to get things sorted. They’re also slated to participate in the NSG Nerd Street Gamers Monthly - March Monthly kicking off tomorrow, where psalm was originally listed as part of their roster but now isn't, and FIEND is not.

Should this report come true, Dignitas will be:

United Kingdom Rory “dephh” Jackson United States Bryan “mAKKALOFF” Drouillard United States Noah “rara” Giesbrecht United States Ryan “ryann” Welsh
