Team Singularity is a Danish esports organization that field and have fielded teams in many different games, such as League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, and Dota 2, among others. With such a wide reach, it could be seen as inevitable that they would put together a VALORANT team, and today they’ve done that by signing most of the roster of FishkaVTom.

Singularity’s roster consists of Ilya "NLaaeR" Koppalov, Denis "Gray" Danilyuk, Nikita "trexx" Cherednichenko, Artem "insider" Puzanov, and Stanislav "Sp1ke" Koshel. NLaaeR has been a professional in several games, including CS:GO, but his biggest success came in Overwatch, where he was part of the roster of the Atlanta Reign in 2019, as well as Team Russia in the Overwatch World Cup. Gray is a former Point Blank professional player, having been very successful and winning many events, including the Russian championship.

In VALORANT, every player except for Sp1ke was a member of FishkaVTom. The unsigned Russian roster was one of the best in the CIS. However, NLaaeR and Gray are the only that remain from their tournament wins, in events like the Dell Gaming Cup, the Logitech G Beyond Tournament, and the Nicecactus Summer Trophy. On September 13th, FishkaVTom announced their disband, but came back later that month with a new roster.

After trialing several new members, trexx and insider joined, with whom they’ve participated in the Dell Gaming Challenge and the NGL Open Cup, with mixed results. Sp1ke is the only player who does not come from the roster, having mostly played lower-tier events and qualifiers with mixes. insider will likely serve as Singularity’s Cypher, with trexx and Sp1ke on duelists, while NLaaeR and Gray have each played a wide variety of agents.

“I’m super excited for Team Singularity to enter into the Valorant scene. I hope we’ll be able to make our mark on the game title and become the best team in CIS region. I believe this team has the motivation and skills needed to be at the top, and together with Singularity and our infrastructure they’ll be able to spread their wings and climb the rankings quickly. I’m looking forward to First Strike CIS qualifiers to start and hopefully we’ll get the result that we’re looking for and striving towards,” said Atle Stehouwer, founder and CEO of Team Singularity, in the official announcement.

Singularity have signed a promising CIS roster and will be looking for success in the region’s First Strike. They’ll go up against the likes of Team Empire , M3 Champions, and forZe in the quest for regional supremacy.
