luk xo leaves LOUD for 2027

In recent days, luk xo has been at the center of online speculation about his potential departure from the organization shortly after winning the title. According to THESPIKE Brazil, the player is set to join Leviatán ahead of the 2027 season, alongside the team's in-game leader, Roberto "erde" Lobos.

Both players have reportedly agreed to join the Latin American organization, with only a few contractual details left to be resolved.

In 2027, Leviatán aims to continue building its VALORANT project around young talent from Brazil and Latin America while retaining some members of its previous lineup, including Bruno "Neon" Rodríguez, Guilherme "blowz" Oliveira, and Rodrigo "spikeziN" Lombardi.

With a roster featuring Masters and Champions winners, Leviatán is shaping up to be one of the most stacked and intriguing projects ahead of the 2027 season.

luk xo apologizes to the fans

In a video posted on X, the Brazilian player shed some light on the situation and explained what led him to make this decision. You can find the English translation below.

I came here to talk to you guys honestly and transparently, as I've always done and as much as I can. I wanted to talk about the transfer window and how players who stand out end up getting a lot of opportunities. I just became a world champion and, statistically, I'm probably the best in the world right now, thanks to God and a lot of hard work. I wanted you guys to understand that when I got into esports and VALORANT, and the game started becoming my dream, I had two goals: to become a world champion and to help my family, giving back to them for everything they've done for me over the years. I achieved the first goal not long ago. The second is something I still want to accomplish. I'm already helping my family, but I know I can do more, and I want to do more.

I didn't want to leave LOUD, and I didn't want my time here to last only two years. It was a short time, but from my point of view, they were two wonderful years. I loved being here. In just two years, I managed to become a world champion with the biggest organization in VALORANT, the only two-time world champion. I'm very happy. I'm leaving the team, but I'm also leaving a good amount of money in Jean's [CEO] hands. I really hope they can build a strong team and stay at the top. I wish this organization nothing but the best. It's the least I can do for them and for you, the fans, because the way you welcomed me was amazing. I can only thank you. I love you guys so much, from the bottom of my heart.

This decision wasn't just about luk xo the player, but also about who luk xo is as a person, as a son, and as the man of the house. It's a decision I'm making because I received a really good offer and things like that. I don't really know what else to say. I think everyone understands, and I'm being as transparent as possible. I love you, I love LOUD, and what an amazing fanbase. I loved every second I spent with you guys, especially in São Paulo at BGS. I had some incredible moments, and I hope this isn't goodbye, but rather a see you later. My dream is to end my career in Brazil many years from now, and it will be with LOUD. I love LOUD.

LOUD has yet to announce the future of the rest of its championship-winning roster, with at least two of the five players set to leave the organization. Only time will tell what lies ahead for the remaining members.
