T1 announce release of crashies and food

Following a string of disappointing tournament results, T1 have announced the release of Austin "crashies" Roberts and Victor "Victor" Wong.

Crashies has served as the team’s main Cypher player, though sometimes switching to Phoenix to make room for Braxton "Brax" Pierce to take up the role, and food has been one of the team’s primary fraggers. But with so many disappointing tournaments recently - falling out in the bracket stage of the FaZe Clan VALORANT Invitational without winning an elimination match, failing to make it out of groups at the Knights Invitational Gauntlet Series after a defeat to Renegades, and tying for last at the recent Pop Flash VALORANT Invitational, it is not surprising changes were made. T1’s win rate in all competitions is 13-9, but in their last 10 matches, it is just 3-7.

This leaves T1 with two open spots for players. Rumours have been surfacing that recently retired Counter-Strike professional Joshua "steel" Nissan, who is of course familiar with all of T1’s current roster from Team iBUYPOWER in CS:GO, may be joining the team, and the release of these players only fuels that speculation.

No matter who T1 are targeting to fill out their roster, given that 100 Thieves are also in the market for North American free agents, it may be a while until we see them compete again.

    T1's current roster is:

United States Braxton “brax” Pierce Canada Keven “AZK” Larivière United States Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham (Inactive)

United States Daniel “fRoD” Montaner (Coach)
