Talon reveal VCT 2023 Pacific League roster

New roster announcements should not come as a surprise to any fans waiting for the VCT 2023 season to get underway. Teams that were lucky enough to earn a franchised spot are doing everything they can right now to make sure that their teams are as prepared as they can be for the VCT 2023 - LOCK//IN. An international tournament to kick off the new VCT season will truly be a test of the roster changes happening during the current offseason.

Speaking of roster changes, there has been a new development coming out from the corner of Talon Esports. As one of the teams to get franchised for the upcoming VCT 2023 - Pacific League Talon has just recently shown off their completely new roster for the upcoming year.

Having the announcement be a parody of a talk show, the players jokingly correct one another on how to do the announcement properly. Towards the end of the video the audience is taken aback by a 6th and final member showing their face. This means that Talon Esports will be a 6 man roster going into next year's tournaments. While Talon hasn’t been around the Valorant pro scene as long as other pre-established teams already are, a roster announcement like this is sure to turn some heads. Earlier in the 2022 season during the VCT 2022 - Philippines - Stage 2 - Open Qualifier, Talon managed to just barely be outside of the qualifying teams. Losing out on qualifying to Alpha Esports Pro really put Talon in maintenance mode. After this the team has been sitting quietly, waiting for the right moment to show the world what they have planned. That time is now.

The 6 man roster put together by Talon poses some big threats to the rest of the Pacific League. Not only that, but a large portion of the players on Talon have previously played on teams together such as XERXIA, and X10 Esports. The mixture of knowing how it feels to play with some of your team and the fact that they have certain game changers on their team like Patiphan "patt" Chaiwong has already put a lot of confidence in the fans of Talon Esports.
