Over the last several days, LVL have been announcing the invited teams for their LVL VALORANT Clash 2, Europe’s next Ignition Series event which was announced last week. With the invites finished and qualifiers wrapped up, we know every team that will be taking part in the event.

Invited:

United Kingdom Team Liquid Germany BIG Europe G2 Esports France Ninjas in Pyjamas Europe Prodigy Sweden FABRIKEN Sweden FunPlus Phoenix Hungary Need More DM United Kingdom Rix.GG Europe Inferno Spain Giants Gaming Sweden Bonk Turkey BBL Esports

Qualified:

From LVL VALORANT Clash:

Germany VALORANDO

From Logitech G Contenders Cup:

France Angry Titans Germany Wave Esports

Big organizations are, as expected, all represented. G2 Esports will of course come in as the favourites, having won every tournament they’ve participated in, while Team Liquid and FunPlus Phoenix will look to build on impressive performances at Allied Esports Odyssey. Ninjas in Pyjamas and GIANTX - playing with Sammy "iDEX" Van de Weghe instead of Miguel "exerZ" Marín - will look to challenge as well.

Unsigned and tier two rosters are well represented also. HEET, reported to be signing with Rogue, will be playing, and this will be SKADE’s first tournament with their new lineup. Rix.GG Thunder will be playing their first major event together, and could surprise. BBL Esports will also be in attendance, much to the relief of the massive Turkish audience, but without their star Mehmet Yağız "cNed" İpek. Lastly, Guild Esports come in as one of Europe’s strongest teams but one we haven’t seen at the top for a few weeks.

There are a few mixed teams attending as well. Orgless will be playing with Vincent "Happy" Cervoni, Daniil "pipsoN" Meshcheryakov, Joseph "Luzuh" Loose, Vakaris "vakk" Bebravičius, and Ričardas "Boo" Lukaševičius. On paper this is strong, but with vakk and Luzuh both being Operator players, someone will have to give up the role. Inferno are also playing, with an unannounced roster which is rumoured to be a mix of players from all different nationalities that we have seen bouncing around European rosters.

Lastly, Souldazz and Wave Esports came through the qualifiers to make the event. Souldazz are the roster formerly known as Project SW, who nearly beat FunPlus Phoenix in the qualifiers for Allied Esports Odyssey, while we haven’t heard much from Wave yet though they are represented by a large organisation. Both of these teams have the potential to make some major upsets happen.

The LVL VALORANT Clash 2 kicks off in only a few days, on Friday, August 28, 2020. Be sure to tune in to the event, and follow THESPIKE.GG for live match updates, stats, and news!
