TSM finalize roster with corey & Rossy

The countdown to VCT 2022 - North America - Stage 1 - Open Qualifier 1 has commenced and in preparation for this event and subsequent Valorant tournaments this year, TSM has decided to finalize their roster.

In 2020, the inaugural year of Valorant esports, they were comparable to some of the top teams in the scene with first-place finished in a total of eight events, including First Strike North America Regional Final and several leaderboard placements. However, in 2021, the roster encountered a lot of setbacks, as evidenced by no Masters qualification or even a 4th or higher place in Stage 1 and 2 Challenger events. In Stage 3, they witnessed a momentary uproar after signing Aleko "LeviathanAG" Gabuniya and Sean "bang" Bezerra. The team ended up winning VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - North America - Challengers 2 and earning a spot at the VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - North America - Challengers Playoffs, but they couldn’t keep up against the likes of Envy and Rise and faced elimination in the 1st round of the tournament, which marked the end of their VCT run.

In the off-season, the roster decided to bench Sean "bang" Bezerra, who has been allowed to search for opportunities while being under the TSM contract, as well as James "hazed" Cobb who was acquired by NRG Esports. Replacing them in the TSM roster are Corey "corey" Nigra and Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo.

Corey "corey" Nigra was one of the founding members of the FaZe Clan’s roster. Their VCT run was relatively similar to TSM, except that they had greater success in Stage 1, which was just enough to rank them amongst the top ten teams in the NA region according to circuit points, as well as a spot in VCT 2021 - North America Last Chance Qualifier, where they ended up placing 7th-8th. On the other hand, Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo had a rather unfortunate year as he struggled to find stable footing with a single team. He played with VIRTUOSO, Frag Ya Bag, and YFP Gaming; however, his presence was most notable with Immortals. He played for the team in Stage 2 Challengers, NSG, Knights Arena, and other regional tournaments.

TSM Academy coaches Soto and Andrew "aRubyz" Seewer, who were a part of TSM Academy's ascent to prominence in the NSG Winter Championship will now be providing support to the main TSM FTX team.
