With its high-tech weapons, super-powered agents, and quirky maps, Valorant has proved to be a challenge for those starting out with inadequate information on the basics of the popular FPS title from Riot Games.

Valorant has eight different maps, and each map comes with its own unique characteristics. In this case, the unique feature of Valorant's Breeze map is a chute that you can use to quickly get into the Mid area, which helps the team get priority in the lane and leads to a lot of interesting outplays.

Features of Valorant's Breeze

Breeze has two spike sites, A and B, separated by a large Mid area which can lead to both sites from behind or the flanks.

That is why control over Mid will be crucial for both teams since attackers can only enter the bombsite through one single entrance in case they don't have the needed Mid control. While Icebox and Ascent have long straight corridors, Breeze has open and virtually cover-free areas of the map, and no other map added into the game is designed like this.

The importance of callouts can never be overemphasised on a map as big as Breeze. With this information, coming up with game-defining strategies, ambushes, and tricks can be the difference between a win or a loss.

Tips for Attackers on Breeze

Attackers on Valorant's Breeze map should be thinking of how they can take control of the middle lane, as control over the lane makes it harder for the opposing team to defend. This is because Breeze's mid-lane connects to every part of the map. Due to this unique feature, spawning and going for the chute is not a bad idea.

Tips for Defenders on Breeze

Holding down the fort on Breeze's A Site can be pretty tricky. You will have to worry about multiple angles, primarily A Cave, A Hall, and Mid Doors. On the other hand, Breeze's B Site is actually a pretty easy one to hold for Defenders. However, It's definitely not going to be the Attacker's preferred choice, given how one big chokepoint is all you really need to hold to be successful. In situations like this, a Sage or Viper wall will be extremely helpful to you and your team.

Best Agent Combinations for Valorant's Breeze

Here are some recommended team compositions when handling the Breeze map to make attacking and defending on Breeze easier. If you plan to play with a team of friends, having one of these agent combinations will help you dominate on Valorant's Breeze.

  • The right guns make a difference on Breeze as it is a large map that deals with a lot of aiming, e.g., OP and Marshall e.t.c
  • Understand that Vision is paramount to winning on Breeze

Breeze is a map that is all about aim and playing around the very large bomb sites. Hopefully, this guide gives you a better understanding of the map and how to win on Valorant's Breeze.
