The VCT 2023 International Leagues have kicked off in blazing fashion. VCT Pacific is well underway being the first region to start its competition, VCT EMEA has had a super week to kick things off, and VCT Americas was last to start, but has had its first round of matches already. All three events saw upsets, overtimes, and best-of-three encounters go the distance as fans were in for a treat. Best part? This is just the beginning of the VCT International Leagues of 2023.

To give some spotlight to the best performers, here are the top 3 players from all VCT International Leagues in the course of March 27-April 4. All players were sorted according to THESPIKE Rating first and foremost.

VCT 2023 Pacific League

Monyet (Global Esports)

Global Esports are a newcomer to the International Leagues and despite having to currently play without their star player, Ganesh "SKRossi" Gangadhar, it was Cahya "Monyet" Nugraha that shined against their matchup against DRX. Despite the 0:2 loss, a 13-11 loss on Haven and a 17-5 overtime loss on Split just goes to show that the end result could have gone either way. Monyet garnered a whopping 1.57 THESPIKE Rating by playing solely Omen and Astra. He also popped off on Split with 39 total kills to keep his team in the game. And yet, his performance shows that a one-man army is not enough to win matches. Nevertheless, an incredible showing against one of the best teams in the VCT Pacific League.

TEN (ZETA DIVISION)

ZETA DIVISION faced Rex Regum Qeon in their second matchup of the event. Following a loss in the opener to DRX, the Japanese side were looking to get back up on the high horse. Tenta "ten" Asai stepped up to the occasion by showing how to play Killjoy expertly in the 3-map fiasco. A 1.54 THESPIKE Rating was accompanied by 72 kills over the course of three maps. ten put up a show of consistency by helping ZETA close things out on Lotus at 13-5 and getting his team that crucial dub in the Pacific League.

Suggest (DetonatioN FocusMe)

Seo "Suggest" Jae-young showed determination in his team's matchup against Gen.G Esports. Yet again, we saw an incredible performance from one player that is simply not enough when teammates are not pulling their weight. A 1:2 loss to Gen.G saw Suggest be a menace on the current premiere Duelists of VALORANT—Raze and Jett. 63 kills, a K/D ratio of 1.66, and a 1.536 THESPIKE Rating was not enough as the Japanese side suffered another loss in the League.

VCT 2023 EMEA League

Sayf (Team Liquid)

After two matches in the EMEA superweek, Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel has shown that he fits into the Liquid lineup like a glove. A loss to Team Vitality in the first match was followed by a victory against FUT Esports and it was Sayf that topped the charts on the Duelist Agents. He garnered 1.72 and 1.42 in terms of THESPIKE Rating respectively, resulting in an average of 1.57. He also had an average K/D of 1.94, which is extremely rare to see given he's facing Tier 1 teams.

Sheydos (KOI)

Similarly to Liquid, KOI have a 1-1 result after the EMEA superweek.KOI proceeded to stun Natus Vincere in their own opener with a clean 2:0, but failed to ride the wave by falling to Team Vitality next with a 0:2 loss. Bogdan "sheydos" Naumov was instrumental in getting the dub against NAVI by topping the charts on Breach and Killjoy with a THESPIKE Rating of 1.62. He was not, however, able to replicate the same quality performance against Vitality, coming in middle of his team's score chart in third with a Rating of 0.98. Still, Sheydos turned a positive K/D/A and even in the Vitality matchup had an ACS of over 200.

qRaxs (FUT Esports)

Doğukan "qRaxs" Balaban showed a masterful KAY/O against Team Heretics as his team proceeded to dominate the match to get their first dub in the EMEA League. A 1.49 THESPIKE Rating saw the Turkish-born show how it's done. Still, his teammates were a big help in the victory as they too put up big numbers in the matchup. FUT however, failed to get the 2-0 as the Turkish side fell to Team Liquid in their second encounter of the League. There, he proceeded to only main KAY/O, resulting in a Rating of 1.10, best on the team considering he played all three maps.

VCT 2023 Americas League

leaf (Cloud9)

Cloud9 came into their opening matchup against Evil Geniuses with a roster nobody expected they'd have for the League following the departure of Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker and Anthony "vanity Malaspina. [Cloud9 signed the duo of Dylan "runi" Cade and Jake "jakee" Anderson] to fill the two vacancies. Despite expectations for this new squad being rather low, Cloud9 pulled through with Nathan "leaf" Orf topping the charts on Killjoy and Skye as Cloud9 brushed off EG 13-11 on Pearl and 13-9 on Fracture. Apart from his sky-high Rating, ACS, KAST, and K/D, , leaf had the highest First Blood Success Rate on the team at 63%.

aspas (LOUD)

Former VALORANT Champions winner, Erick "aspas" Santos, is looking to continue getting the most out of Agent Jett in 2023. Only playing the oppressive gliding and dashing Agent, aspas showed class in LOUD's derby matchup against mibr. With a 13-5 win on Split, an 11:13 loss on Lotus, and finally a 13-11 win on Haven, nerves of steel were a major factor in who takes the cake at the end. LOUD prevailed with one of their star players shining bright with a THESPIKE Rating of 1.38 on none other Agent than Jett. A KAST of 83.3% is also nothing to scoff at.

kiNgg (Leviatán)

Leviatán defeating NRG with a clean 2-0 was one of the biggest upsets of the first round of matches in the Americas League. Not only that, the South American side defeated NRG 13-4 on Lotus, map pick of NRG. And leading the charge for LEV was their Viper player Francisco "kiNgg" Aravena. While LEV as a whole played phenomenally, kiNgg was the one to accumulate the highest stats over the course of the two maps with the highest THESPIKE Rating of 1.34, highest ACS at 237, and the joint-highest KAST with Roberto "Mazino" Rivas.
