Today, 100 Thieves have announced that Brenden "stellar" McGrath and Derrek "Derrek" Ha have left the team and both players are currently unrestricted free agents, looking for a new home to show their capabilities in the 2024 season.

100 Thieves’ season started with an impressive run at VCT 2022 OFF SEASON - Red Bull Home Ground 2022. The organization won the tournament to take home a total prize of $50,000, and they looked great as a team. However, the initial impressive performance didn’t last long. At first, 100 Thieves placed 5th-8th at VCT 2023 LOCK//IN, after losing to Fnatic with a score of 2-0. Fnatic later won the tournament, so 100 Thieves’ performance wasn’t questioned that much at the time. Once the VCT 2023 Americas League started, questions and criticism on 100 Thieves kept growing. The team failed to show decent performances against other teams, and they completed the regional league with four wins and five losses, at the 8th place, which put them out of the playoff race. 100T had a second chance to represent the region at VCT 2023 Champions, but they couldn’t get past Sentinels. As the VCT 2023: Americas Last Chance Qualifier came to an end, it meant the end of the season for the organization.

Derrek and stellar joined the team in 2022

After a disappointing season, it was obvious that the team would make roster changes. Today, 100 Thieves announced the departures of stellar and Derrek. Both players have been with the team since the 2022 season. Derrek held a 0.94 rating in the last year while stellar held a 0.89 rating. Stellar’s most-picked agent was Killjoy, whereas Derrek mostly played Sova.

Here is the 100 Thieves roster that competed in VCT 2023 Americas League:
