Countdown - one day to the closed beta launch!

The wait is almost over! VALORANT closed beta will be launched tomorrow, on April 7th, 2020 in the European and North American regions. One day before the highly anticipated release, Anna “SuperCakes” Donlon the Product Manager of VALORANT, has delivered a message to all the fans waiting for the Riot Games’ newest title.

Donlon talks about the influence of COVID-19 on the production process of the game. Despite the circumstances, the developers are positive about the launch and are aware of all of the new challenges that they will face now during the closed beta phase. Due to the fact that the pandemic outrage forces people to stay at their homes, the infrastructure of the game, as well as the Q&A process, will be more troublesome and limited for the time being.

The developers want to let the people access their game from all around the world but because of the current situation only Europe and North America, two of the readiest regions, will have a chance to play the game. Donlon hopes that more and more people, also from different parts of the world, will be able to test their services as soon as possible.
