T1 have announced David Denis as their new head coach, after Danny “fRoD” Montaner left the team in January.

Denis has previously worked with organizations such as Cloud9, Gen.G, and TSM as a performance and psychology trainer, including TSM's VALORANT team, so while he has no direct coaching experience, he’s been around the scene plenty. His choice is perhaps an odd one by T1, but certainly gives them a completely new direction and will bring new things for the team to focus on. It’s just a thought from an outsider, but perhaps someone like Sam "DaZeD" Marine will be stepping up to craft more strategies and tactics while Denis takes an auxiliary role.

It will definitely be interesting to see the steps and direction T1 will be taking now. They failed to qualify for North American VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America - Challengers 1 in a loss to NYFU, so they’ll have to wait until the next open qualifier to make their official debut with their new head coach.

    T1 is now:

United States Braxton “Brax” Pierce Canada Keven “AZK” Larivière United States Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham United States Sam “DaZeD” Marine South Korea Ha “Spyder” Jung-woo

    Canada David Denis (Coach)
