Dragon Ranger Gaming and FULL SENSE bow out of VALORANT Masters London
Day 4 of VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Masters London 2026 delivered some of the most emotionally charged VALORANT of the tournament so far, as the Swiss Stage Round 2 Low Matches produced two more regional derbies, and also two heartbreaking eliminations. Dragon Ranger Gaming fell to fellow Chinese side Xi Lai Gaming, while FULL SENSE were edged out by Global Esports in a closely contested Pacific showdown. Both eliminated teams exit London without a series win, but not without leaving a lasting impression.
XLG Survive DRG in a Gruelling Affair
In a rematch of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - China Stage 1 Lower Bracket Finals, XLG and Dragon Ranger Gaming went toe-to-toe in what turned out to be one of the most dramatic series of the tournament. DRG came out swinging on their map pick of Haven, and it wasn't even close. Their defensive setups were nothing short of masterful, and in a tournament already defined by incredible defence sides, DRG's performance stood out, as they dismantled XLG 13-4 in a near-flawless display.
XLG, however, were not ready to pack their bags so quick. On their own pick of Fracture, they showed serious grit, riding a strong 7-5 defensive half before closing out the map 13-9 to force a third-map decider on Split.
Split was an absolute war. XLG raced out to an 8-4 lead on attack, but DRG clawed their way back round by round, dragging the map all the way to the final round of regulation. It was XLG's Teng "happywei" Minwei who delivered the decisive moments when it mattered most, carrying his team to a nail-biting 13-11 win. XLG survives; DRG are eliminated.
Global Esports Edge Past FULL SENSE
Game 2 carried its own storylines. Global Esports faced FULL SENSE (formerly TALON) in an international rematch of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Pacific Stage 1 Upper Bracket Finals. Adding an extra layer of intrigue, GE head coach Hector "FrosT" Rosario was going up against his former team for the very first time on an international stage.
FULL SENSE made their intentions clear immediately on Map 1, Split, thoroughly outplaying GE to take it 13-9 despite the Indian org keeping it close in the first half. GE hit back on Breeze, closing out the first half 7-5 and snowballing that momentum into a convincing 13-8 victory to level the series.
Pearl was the decider, and it's a map GE are known to thrive on. They dominated the first half 10-2, and while Thai phenom Papaphat "Primmie" Sriprapha sparked a remarkable FULL SENSE comeback, GE had their own star in Savva "Kr1stal" Fedorov, who stepped up at the crucial moments to secure a 13-8 win and a 2-1 series victory.
The Road Ahead
For DRG and FULL SENSE, their Masters London campaign is over. Though neither side secured a series win, both represented their regions with heart, putting up fierce fights on their final day.
XLG and Global Esports, meanwhile, are now set to face off tomorrow in a winner-takes-all match for one of the two remaining playoff spots. On the other side, NRG and FUT Esports battle for the remaining berth.
