Following the disappointment in the VCT 2021 - EMEA Last Chance Qualifier after losing 3-1 in the Grand Final against Team Liquid and not making it to the VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021, changes in Guild Esports started to happen already. Both William "draken" Sundin and Yacine "Yacine" Laghmari have announced on their Twitter that they will be parting Guild Esports to find new challenges for next year's VCT, with Yacine announcement including the statement that he wants to keep playing with bonkar.

All three players had joined the team when Guild Esports entered VALORANT back in October 2020. Yacine was always focused on the duelist role playing Jett or Raze but during Stage 3 he was also picking Killjoy on Ascent. On the other hand, draken lately was more focused on the Sentinel or Initiator role juggling between Cypher and Viper depending on the map they will be playing while bonkar was more into the Controller and Initiator role playing various agents including Astra, Omen, Sova and others.

In 2021, alongside Leo and Sayf, the two remaining players on the roster of Guild, the team never managed to win an event but they were always very close to the top. In VCT Stage 1 they ended 3rd-4th in Masters after losing to Team Heretics in the Semi Final. During VCT Stage 2 they finished 5th-6th in the Challengers Playoffs, the event that held two places for Masters Reykjavik. They failed to make it out of their group when they lost 2-1 to Oxygen Esports in the Elimination Match. During VCT Stage 3, the team ended 7th-8th in the Challengers Playoffs after dropping matches against the champions Gambit Esports in the Upper Bracket and Vodafone Giants in the lower bracket. With all these performances, the team managed to grab their slot for the EMEA Last Chance Qualifier in which they managed to end up 2nd after beating various teams like G2 Esports, Supermassive Blaze and Futbolist but falling short in the Grand Final against Team Liquid.
