EDward Gaming has officially signed former T1 Head Coach Yoon "Autumn" Eu-teum ahead of the VCT 2026 season.

The VCT 2025 season began decently for EDward Gaming, as the team won VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - China Kickoff and qualified for VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Masters Bangkok 2025. They then transitioned that into a top-three finish at the first VCT international tournament of the year.

However, the team was unable to maintain that level of play as they failed to qualify for VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Masters Toronto 2025. While they were able to bounce back in VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - China Stage 2 and qualify for VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Valorant Champions, their performance at the final VCT international event of the year was underwhelming. As a result, the team has now looked towards making adjustments to their team as they welcome Autumn.

    Who is autumn?

Autumn served as T1's Head Coach for the past three and a half years, joining the organization midway through the VCT 2022 season. During his three and a half year tenure with the team, he was able to lead the team to multiple international appearances and a victory at VALORANT Masters Bangkok.

Now, autumn will be looking to take his years of experience at the top of the VCT Pacific and help EDG return to international success. Before his time on T1, Autumn served as the Head Coach of Cloud9 Korea and later Cloud9, where he helped the North American organisation reach 5th-8th place at VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021.

It will be interesting to see how Autumn can provide impact to EDward Gaming and whether the organization can bring China back to the top of VALORANT. Additionally, it will be interesting to see how T1 maintains their place atop the VCT Pacific in 2026.
