North American esports organization Evil Geniuses GC announced the addition of Canadian player keenc to complete the org's 2023 VCT Game Changers lineup.

keenc joins Evil Geniuses

Former Complexity GX3 player keenc started their career in 2021. After playing for multiple teams, the keenc joined Complexity GX3 in September 2022. After qualifying for the main event at the VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 3 - Open Qualifier with Complexity, keenc failed to find the success they wanted at the event. Complexity finished the tournament in 7th-8th place with 1 win and 2 losses. In fact, keenc has been participating in tournaments with the Evil Geniuses GC roster since March. They played in 3 B- and C-Tier tournaments during a 1-month trial with Evil Geniuses GC, including Astral Clash 2023, missharvey Invitational #2, and Complexity Paradox Invitational. keenc finished 3rd-4th in Astral Clash 2023, 2nd in missharvey Invitational #2 and 1st in Complexity Paradox Invitational with Evil Geniuses.

With keenc officially joining Evil Geniuses GC, the organization has completed its team and is ready for the North America qualifiers.

Evil Geniuses entered the Game Changers VALORANT scene in August 2022, signing with the Dignitas Female roster. In November, with the departure of Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido, Amanda "rain" Smith and coach David "Xp3" Garrido; Juliana "showliana" Maransaldi, Stefanie "Stefanie" Jones and Melisa "Theia" Mundorff remained on the active roster. EG signed with ex-100 Thieves coach Jovanni "Jovi" Vera in January, and last month they signed former Complexity GX3 player PowerPixele.

Many esports organizations continue to build or strengthen their Game Changers rosters. The 2023 Game Changers season is bound to be even more competitive than that of last year.

Evil Geniuses GC are now:

  • United States Melisa "Theia" Mundorff
  • Brazil Juliana "showliana" Maransaldi
  • United States Stefanie "Stefanie" Jones
  • United States PowerPixele
  • United States keenc
  • United States Jovanni "Jovi" Vera (Head Coach)
