Some won the entire event, while others went home early but still delivered memorable performances.
Note: The following does not take into account any events prior to Masters Reykjavik 2021.
Masters Reykjavik 2021 - Tenz
Rating: 1.44

The highest-rated player on this list is Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, thanks to his insane performance at the first ever international Masters event, VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - Masters Reykjavík, where he posted a 1.44 rating across 9 maps. At the time, TenZ was only a stand-in for Sentinels, but he wrote himself into the history books as the best Duelist and overall player at the event. He played Reyna and Raze but shined brightest on Jett. From that point on, he built his legacy as one of the best players ever. No performance on this list truly compares to what TenZ showcased in Reykjavik.
Masters Berlin 2021 - yay
Rating: 1.37
11 maps
VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Masters Berlin - Playoffs statistics were split into the group stage and playoffs. The player with the best combined stats was Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker on ENVY. In the playoffs, yay had the highest impact, consistently securing the entry kill for his team. They ultimately finished in second place.

During his time in Reykjavik, ScreaM played a wide variety of agents, fragging just as hard on Jett as he did on Sage and KAY/O. Liquid lost both of their playoff matches and were eliminated by ZETA DIVISION, but ScreaM still outperformed players on the eventual champions, OpTic Gaming.

Masters Tokyo 2023 - ZmjjKK

VCT 2023 - Masters Tokyo was the only Masters event in 2023, and Zheng "ZmjjKK" Yongkang from EDward Gaming outperformed the rest. Across 15 maps, he topped the leaderboard with a 1.30 rating. 2023 was the year ZmjjKK truly put himself on the map as one of the best Duelists in the world. A year later, he cemented that status as EDG took home the VCT 2024 - Champions 2024 title. In Tokyo, however, EDG finished 5th–6th. While ZmjjKK top-fragged in all but one game for his team, it wasn’t enough to lift the trophy.

Rating: 1.20
20 maps
At VCT 2024 - Masters Madrid, there was a tie for the top playoff performer from the winning team Sentinels between Zachary "zekken" Patrone and TenZ. Both finished with a 1.20 rating over 20 maps. CHICHOO was not only the best performer on his team but the highest-rated player among all playoff competitors. He played four different agents, two Sentinels and two Controllers, making him the only player on this list to top the event without playing a Duelist.
Masters Toronto 2025 - t3xture

12 maps
At the latest Masters event, VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Masters Toronto 2025, Kim "t3xture" Na-ra from Gen.G claimed first place with a 1.28 rating across 12 maps. t3xture has a long history of Duelist dominance, though Gen.G had previously only qualified for Masters Madrid before making their Toronto run.
