FunPlus Phoenix has announced the arrival of Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks to their VALORANT roster ahead of the new year.

After parting ways with ShadoW, FPX’s next move was eagerly awaited for the upcoming VALORANT tournaments. According to their latest announcement, the mystery has been solved and they have signed ardiis, who was one of the inactive players on the Team Heretics roster.

ardiis proved his worth during the time he spent under the G2 Esports roof back in 2020. He played for the team for over a year and won many tournaments including The Vitality European Open , WePlay! VALORANT Invitational, Red Bull Home Ground - #1 - Main Event and more.

He joined FunPlus Phoenix a month ago to compete in Red Bull Home Ground - #2 - Main Event in which they failed to get out of the group stage when they played against Fnatic, Giants Gaming and Anubis Gaming. The Latvian surely marked his presence against Anubis Gaming with a 2.17 rating on top of 403 ACS. Throughout the whole event he managed to obtain the second highest Rating, 1.37 and 276.3 ACS while playing Sova and Jett.

With ardiis joining FPX, the team now consists of:

Ukraine Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow Sweden Pontus "Zyppan" Eek Russian Federation Andrey "Shao" Kiprsky Russian Federation Dmitrii "SUYGETSU" Iliushin Latvia Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks
