The European esports organisation, G2 Esports, has parted ways with their French duelist, Wassim "keloqz" Cista.

G2 made so many roster changes this year, starting with the arrivals of Aaro "hoody" Peltokangas and Johan "Meddo" Renbjörk Lundborg. As the new duo joined the roster, G2 Esports benched Wassim "keloqz" Cista but failed to show their full potential at VCT 2022 - Europe - Stage 1 - Closed Qualifier 1. The organisation made another decision and promoted their French star back to the main roster and replaced Oscar Cañellas "m1xwell" Colocho. However, they changed their minds for the third time this season and got m1xwell back as reported on Wednesday. G2 Esports didn’t have their best start to VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event as they faced a 2-1 loss against Fnatic in their season opener. They managed to bounce back with a clean win over Papara SuperMassive and secured their first win of the tournament.

keloqz has shown numerous impressive performances under the G2 Esports jersey. He appeared in VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - EMEA - Challengers Playoffs and VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Masters Berlin - Playoffs with the organisation. The French star held a 1.12 rating, 236.6 ACS, and 1.20 K/D for the past three months of his career.

With keloqz’s departure, G2 Esports roster is now:

Spain Oscar Cañellas "m1xwell" Colocho Denmark Auni "AvovA" Chahade Lithuania Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas Finland Aaro "hoody" Peltokangas Sweden Johan "Meddo" Renbjörk Lundborg
