G2 overhaul roster with nukkye, AvovA, and koldamenta

Just a few hours after they released patitek, ardiis and zeek, G2 Esports revealed the signings of Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas, Auni "AvovA" Chahade, and Jose Luis "koldamenta" Aranguren to their VALORANT roster.

The most exciting of the new trio is nukkye, known earlier for his spell on Hellraisers in CS:GO, but is now making waves in the European scene with Team Heretics. He seems like just the explosive duelist G2 needs alongside Oscar Cañellas "m1xwell" Colocho, posting a hugely impressive 1.36 rating and 1.37 KD overall with primarily Raze and Jett.

koldamenta joins G2 Esports after a swap with zeek from Acend and will fill the Sova gap on the team left by ardiis. AvovA, on the other hand, will take over controller duties from paTiTek, joining along with nukkye from Team Heretics. While both aren’t big names or the best fraggers, they will certainly be looking to set their star players in mixwell and nukkye up in the best way possible.

G2 won a number of titles with long-standing members paTiTek and ardiis on the team, most notably Mandatory.GG Cup, Red Bull Home Ground - #1 - Main Event, and WePlay! VALORANT Invitational. However, with the team unable to qualify for both Masters events, even after the addition of zeek in January, it was clear that a change in direction was needed for the storied organization.
