The roster mania continues and the majority of the teams continue to make roster changes in the offseason. According to the latest news, Global Esports have parted ways with Ganesh "SKRossi" Gangadhar, Abhirup "Lightningfast" Paul Choudhury, and Cahya "Monyet" Nugraha. The organization recently announced a couple more departures, and currently, there aren’t any players on the active Global Esports roster.

Global Esports couldn’t quite meet the expectations

At the beginning of the season, Global Esports formed a very wide roster with 10 players, and their roster included talents from over the seas. Having a wide roster has its advantages and disadvantages. While Evil Geniuses were one of the examples indicating the advantages of having a 10-man roster, Global Esports were quite the opposite. At first, they made an upsetting start at VCT 2023 LOCK//IN, bidding farewell to the tournament after the first round. However, it was considered “okay” as they had a wide roster, and they were still in the middle of trying out different lineups and strategies. However, the organization failed to impress their fans at VCT 2023 Pacific League, completing the tournament with three wins and six losses, which kept them away from playoffs. Global Esports got swept to Rex Regum Qeon in VCT 2023: Pacific Last Chance Qualifier, and the season ended pretty early for the players. Also, the organization parted ways with some their players during the season.

The team recently announced a couple of departures, and today, three more were announced in a social media post. SkRossi, Lightningfast, and Monyet won’t be a part of the organization in 2024. SKRossi is a pure talent with a 1.30 rating and a 1.33 K/D. He was among the most important pieces of the Global Esports roster in 2023. Apart from him, Monyet is sitting at an impressive 1.18 rating, and Lightningfast has a 1.09 rating.
