Harbor rework set to shake up VALORANT in Patch 11.10

With Patch 11.08, the VALORANT team teased that Patch 11.10 would include a full rebuild of Harbor. As the developers noticed that Harbor’s kit had become weak in the current meta, a rework was set in motion to make him a more solid agent. The rework is now only a week away, bringing major changes to Harbors kit.

Making Harbor relevant

During the live panel at Champions 2025, the VALORANT devs team announced that Harbor would be getting a rework. The lack of playtime for the agent in both ranked and pro play signaled to Riot that a rework might be necessary to make Harbor a more competitive pick.

With this rework, the developers focused on keeping Harbor’s identity intact as a hybrid Initiator and Controller, as Riot wants to maintain hybrid roles in the game. While some of his previous abilities are being reshuffled, new ones are also being added.

New abilities

According to leaks on X, Harbor’s updated kit show two entirely new abilities. His current C ability, Cascade, has been replaced by a Splash Grenade, and his ultimate, Reckoning, is now called Tidal Wave. Since the leaks mention debuffs, these new abilities appear to include some kind of stun effect.

In a message from Astra, she also mentions flooding caused by Harbor. This could possibly be a hint that his new ultimate, Tidal Wave, involves a massive surge of water.

New voicelines

The rework also introduces new voicelines, both in-game and in the broader lore. All of them reference Harbor’s artifact acting strangely, which could be tied to the new abilities in his kit.
