KRÜ Esports finalize roster for VCT 2023

Considering how the rosters are turning out, the Americas league is bound to be entertaining especially as KRÜ Esports just announced their new roster with Alexandre "xand" Zizi, Santiago "Daveeys" Galvis Ruiz, Marco Eliot "Melser" Machuca Almaro, and Carlos "axeddy" Alberto Machado being introduced earlier today as the new additions for VCT 2023.

Riot’s plan for the upcoming VCT season involved dividing the world into three major leagues: Americas, EMEA and Pacific leagues. In the Americas league, NA was granted half the spots while the remaining fell to Brazil and LATAM and it was no surprise that the reputable KRÜ Esports earned themselves a way into Riot’s partner program.

Xand was a part of the Ninjas in Pyjamas through the VCT 2022 season, and he was a key contributor to the team’s success through both stages including participation in VCT 2022 - Stage 1 - Masters Reykjavík. However, their Brazilian counterparts, LOUD, did not let them take the throne in the region. Furthermore, their chances to qualify in the VCT 2022 - Champions Istanbul were rendered futile in the South American LCQ.

Daveeys was a member of the E-Xolos LAZER and while they had plausible placements in LATAM tournaments, they could never manage a 1st place nor a placement in international tournament. He nonetheless managed to keep an average of 1.23 Rating, 250.3 ACS and 1.44 KD. Melser was a member of Leviatán Esports, who were one of the best teams in the LATAM regions and they consistently placed in the top three every tournament granting them the opportunity to qualify for [event= 1248] and then VCT 2022 - Champions Istanbul.

Finally axeddy was a member of the Galaxy Carrots roster and considering the other additions to the team, he had the least eventful year with no main event participations and no win in other tier 2 events either. He will likely play the role of the 6th man assisting the team when they need him.

KRU Esports’ roster for the upcoming season is as follows:

Chile Juan Pablo "NagZet" Lopez Miranda Argentina Nicolas "Klaus" Martin Ferrari Colombia Santiago "Daveeys" Galvis Ruiz Brazil Alexandre "xand" Zizi Chile Marco Eliot "Melser" Machuca Almaro Brazil Carlos "axeddy" Alberto Machado

Argentina Leandro "Leazo" Liset (Head Coach) Argentina Alan Pablo "ddx" Salvati (Analyst)
