LVL announce Europe's next Ignition Series event

Gaming arena and tournament organizer LVL have announced Europe’s next Ignition Series event, the LVL VALORANT Clash 2, slated to take place on August 28th and 29th.

The tournament is a follow-up to the previous LVL Clash tournament in early May, which was won by a VALORANDO lineup featuring current Ninjas in Pyjamas player Niels "luckeRRR" Jasiek. This edition features a €15,000 prize pool.

BIG, Team Liquid, G2 Esports, and Ninjas in Pyjamas have all been invited to the event already. In their announcement tweet, LVL asks the community who they wish to see invited. This could mean that unsigned lineups, such as Guild Esports and nolpenki, finally get invited and get an even shot with the larger organizations in the scene.

With North America’s final Ignition Series event, the Pop Flash VALORANT Invitational, quickly approaching, the possibility must be floated that this could also be Europe’s last event, though it is not explicitly mentioned. If so, it would mark an end to the first era of VALORANT esports for the region.
