M80 sign Victor for Challengers roster ahead of Stage 2
The roster change signals M80’s intent to strengthen their lineup heading into VCL 2025 - North America: Stage 2.
A Champion Returns to the Server
Victor brings with him one of the most accomplished résumés in the North American VALORANT scene. As a core member of the legendary ENVY and OpTic Gaming rosters, he was instrumental in their dominant run from 2021 to 2022, including their historic victory at VCT 2022 - Stage 1 - Masters Reykjavík. Known for his consistency and flexibility, Victor’s veteran leadership could prove vital for a young M80 lineup aiming to make a breakthrough.
Reunited with Chet After NRG Departure
Victor’s move to M80 also marks a reunion with longtime coach Chet "Chet" Singh. The two were released by NRG after two underwhelming seasons in 2023 and 2024, where expectations were high but results fell short. Now reunited under the M80 banner, both Victor and Chet will be looking to reignite the spark that once made them world champions.
M80’s decision to sign Victor and Chet comes shortly after their 2nd place finish at VCL 2025 - North America: Stage 1. Despite having recently signed a completely new roster at the start of the season, the organization appears committed to building a roster capable of dominating the tier-two scene — and eventually, breaking into the VCT.
Third Time’s the Charm?
Having fallen just short in the Americas Ascension tournament for two consecutive years, M80 is clearly not content with second place. With the addition of Victor and the return of Chet, they hope to finally clear that last hurdle. Their revamped roster will debut in just over a day’s time at VALORANT Challengers 2025 North America: Stage 2, where they are set to face Ambrosia in the opening round of the Swiss Stage.
