MIBR GC's srN breaks multiple kill records in VCT Game Changers Brazil grand final
The VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Game Changers Brazil Final Stage Grand Finals will be remembered not only for Team Liquid Brazil’s championship win but also for Nicolas "srN" Niederauer’s extraordinary individual performance. Despite MIBR GC falling short against Team Liquid Brazil in a hard-fought five-map thriller, srN made history, breaking multiple all-time records across the VCT circuit in a single series.
Record-Breaking Performance on Abyss
The highlight of srN’s performance came on Abyss, where the MIBR GC star shattered the single-map kill record, finishing with 50 kills. This surpassed the previous record of 47 kills, held by Shopify Rebellion Gold’s Karnthida "dodonut" Chaisrakeo.
This feat also meant srN overtook the benchmark set by not just dodonut but also by Erick "aspas" Santos, who had previously set the single-map kill record in the VCT, also with 47 kills.
Most Kills in a Bo5 Series
As the series progressed, srN continued to deliver an unmatched level of consistency. Across the entire best-of-five, they racked up an astounding 124 kills, setting a new Game Changers series record. The previous record of 112 kills, held by Ava "florescent" Eugene, now sits second to srN’s monumental achievement.
srN not only broke these Game Changers records but also surpassed Zheng "ZmjjKK" Yongkang’s record for the most kills in a single VCT series, which stood at 111, a record which earned him the MVP at VCT 2024 - Champions 2024 Grand Finals. This performance marks srN as the first player in history to cross the 120-kill threshold in a single series.
MIBR GC’s Effort Falls Short
Despite srN’s historic showing, MIBR GC ultimately fell to Team Liquid Brazil, who claimed the VCT 2025: Game Changers Brazil Final Stage title and secured their place at the Game Changers Championship 2025.
MIBR GC’s defeat, however, didn’t spell the end of their journey. The team earned 100 Circuit Points, ensuring qualification for the Game Changers Americas Last Chance Qualifier, where they will get one final opportunity to punch their ticket to the global championship.
In the end, srN’s performance will be remembered as a historic showcase of skill and determination. Even though MIBR GC fell short against Team Liquid Brazil, srN’s record-breaking feats have redefined what’s possible in competitive VALORANT, proving that individual brilliance can shine brightest even in defeat.
