Patitek returns to Team Heretics for TEN Global Invitational
Team Heretics have once again turned to a familiar face as they prepare for the upcoming TEN VALORANT Global Invitational 2025 in South Korea. Former Team Liquid player Patryk "paTiTek" Fabrowski has rejoined Los Niños as a substitute, stepping in for Enes "RieNs" Ecirli, who will be unavailable for a month due to military duties. This move marks the third time Patitek will don the Los Niños jersey.
From Early Days to the Franchised Era
Patitek’s journey with Team Heretics began back in 2021, well before the VALORANT franchising system was introduced. His early stint established him as one of the most consistent players in Europe. When Heretics joined the EMEA franchise league, they brought him back for the start of the 2024 season.
During his second tenure, Patitek represented the team at VCT 2024 - EMEA Kick-off and VCT 2024 - Masters Madrid before being benched when Mert "Wo0t" Alkan joined the lineup. Still, he remained the dependable sixth man of the roster, later stepping in for Dominykas "MiniBoo" Lukasevicius during VCT 2024 - Masters Shanghai, where Heretics earned an impressive 2nd place finish.
A Liquid Chapter and a Return Home
After Masters Shanghai, Patitek made the move to Team Liquid at the tail-end of 2024. His time there proved fruitful, as he helped the squad win the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Stage 2 trophy. Yet, as the season came to a close, Liquid and Patitek parted ways, leaving him without a team ahead of 2026.
Now, as Heretics face the TEN Global Invitational short-handed, the organization has once again called on their trusted “super-sub”. Despite being an off-season event, this could be a valuable opportunity for Patitek to reignite his competitive momentum and remind everyone that he’s still one of the best at his job.
With Heretics recently signing Berkcan "ComeBack" Şentürk and given coach Neil "neilzinho" Finlay’s thoughts on substitutes and 6-man rosters, Patitek’s current return is more than likely temporary. Still, returning to Los Niños once more feels poetic – a veteran stepping up for the team that has always found a way to call him home.
