The Swedish players Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi and Max "maxie" Lönström have joined Singapore’s BLEED Esports in a surprising move.

pyth’s VALORANT journey started with G2 Esports, where he spent over a year before becoming inactive on June 25th. The European organisation announced his departure on November 13th and since then, he was yet to join another team. pyth competed at the VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Europe - Challengers 1 and VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - Europe - Challengers 2 with them but the team didn't manage to find any success in both tournaments. He is known for playing Cypher and holds a 1.13 KD, 189 ACS with an 80.9% win rate. On the other hand, maxie is a less-known future prospect. He has played for different teams in his career but he hasn’t made it to the biggest stage yet. Alongside pyth, maxie will be Bleed’s second Swedish player who will be relocating to Singapore.

Based in Singapore, Bleed eSports is a relative new organisation that competes in the SEA region. The start of the organisation was when they signed the ex-UwU team but after some disappointing results, the roster started to change and now with the signing of the two Swedes, the organisation went international as well.

With pyth and maxie joining, Bleed eSports’ 6-men roster for VCT 2022 will be:

Sweden Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi Sweden Max "maxie" Lönström Singapore Lee "Lexy" Jun Hao Xavier Singapore Darren "FirstLove" Mok Singapore Derrick "Deryeon" Yee Singapore Lim You "lenne" Xiang Lionel
