Oxygen Esports have announced that Yassine "Reduxx" Aboulalazm will be replacing Devon "randyySAVAGE" Bréard on the active roster. The 16-year-old player will compete in the remaining matches of the season. OXG made an impressive start to the VCT 2023 - Challengers League North America: Split 2, and they will try to continue the good form in the upcoming matches with the roster change.

Oxygen Esports formed its roster at the beginning of the 2022 season and kept every player throughout the first split. They made it out of the group stage with three wins and two losses but failed to get past G2 Esports in the VCT 2023 - Challengers League North America: Mid-Season Face Off. Despite getting eliminated, the organization made it to the lower bracket semi-finals, which isn't bad at all.

Oxygen Esports have started the second split strongly after a strong win over Disguised. The organization swept its opponent’s contentious roster, recently strengthened with yay's arrival. They destroyed Disguised on Haven with a score of 13-6, keeping yay at 7 kills on Jett. From now on, Oxygen Esports will have a slight difference on their roster.

Oxygen Esports made the announcement after Reduxx turned 16

Reduxx is the new member of the active roster. He joined Oxygen in the middle of 2020 as a streamer when he was only 13 years old. At the beginning of last year, he was among the first Oxygen Academy players, and his professional career started. However, Reduxx also played for different teams, like Herb Hunters, Good Morrow, and Anima Squad Only. He played with many different players in a short amount of time and showed consistent performances in several tournaments.

Reduxx holds a 1.24 rating and a 2.6 K/D in 657 maps. He is believed to be a star player in the future, and with his arrival, here is the new lineup for Oxygen Esports:

  • United States Logan "skuba" Jenkins
  • United States Josh "pwny" VanGorder
  • United States Mitch "mitch" Semago
  • United States Andrew "Verno" Maust
  • United States Yassine "Reduxx" Aboulalazm
  • United States Alan "wrap" Shen (Manager)
  • Sweden Malkolm "bonkar" Rench (Head Coach)
  • United States Rustun "Rustun" Lusk (Assistant Coach)
