    Riot Games Announces "Convergence," the first ever VALORANT International event in India

    To make the VALORANT OFF//Season more exciting among the APAC fans Riot Games announced that they will be hosting Convergence, the first ever international VALORANT esports tournament in India in partnership with The Esports Club.

    Convergence Teams and Schedule

    Since this is the first ever VALORANT International Event taking place in India, partnered teams from Americas, Europe and APAC are invited to play in this event. The teams invited to play this event are:

    • Global Esports
    • FUT
    • Furia
    • Team Vitality
    • Gen.G Esports
    • TBA

    The tournament is scheduled to take place between 14th to 17th December, 2023 at the Manpho Convention Center in Bangalore.

    During the announcement of the tournament Sukamal Pegu, Esports Lead, India & South Asia, Riot Games said:

    Convergence is us at Riot saying thanks to our amazing fans in India, who have supported us since the launch of VALORANT in 2020. We have also since grown the India team to deliver such hyperlocal experiences to our players here. With Convergence, Indian fans will finally get to see some of their favorite VALORANT athletes perform in person and also interact with them off-stage. It will be a perfect ending to the 2023 VCT season and we are just getting started here in India for such international events

    How To Watch Convergence

    Although there is no official announcement from Riot Games or The Esports Club regarding the live streams of the matches. We can expect the matches to be live-streamed on the:

    • VALORANT Esports South Asia (YouTube)
    • The Esports Club(TEC) (YouTube)

    Apart from this, there is not much information yet available about the event; we can expect Riot Games South Asia or The Esports Club to announce more details about the upcoming event on their socials along with details about the tickets for fans to watch the match live in the Manpho Convention Center in Bangalore.
