Sentinels has officially completed their lineup for Stage 1 of the Americas with the acquisition of former SaD Esports duelist Gurjiwan "Jerrwin" Gill as the team looks towards improvement in the 2026 season.

The offseason going into VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Americas Stage 1 has been an exciting and chaotic one to say the least for Sentinels fans who had initially speculated that former superstar Tyson "TenZ" Ngo could be making a return to competitive VALORANT. Instead, Sentinels has opted to rebuild their team around a talented Tier-2 duelist in Jerrwin who pieced together an impressive performance all throughout the VCL 2025 season and the start of the VCL 2026 season under the teams Trust In Plug and SaD Esports. His most recent accomplishment was helping lead SaD Esports to impressive third place finish during VCL 2026 - North America: Stage 1, narrowly losing to the eventual winners of the stage in QoR.

He will be joining a Sentinels roster who underperformed during Kickoff, where they finished in 9th-10th place. After acquiring former G2 Esports player Jonah "JonahP" Pulice and, most recently, Jerrwin, Sentinels will be hoping that these new acquisitions will help catapult the team higher than their early struggles to start the VCT 2026 season.

Jerrwin will have an opportunity to face off against former SaD Esports teammate and current Evil Geniuses player Banh "bao" Bao as both have been placed into Group Omega. VCT Americas Stage 1 will officially begin on April 10, 2026 as teams look to compete for one of three spots at VALORANT Masters London. It will be interesting to see if Jerrwin will be able to help lead Sentinels back to the top of the VCT Americas League. For now, Jerrwin will use the remainder of his offseason prepping for his VCT Americas debut.
