VALORANT Game Changers 2023 - Championship: São Paulo is here, and the best teams in the world are ready for an immense six-day battle. Eight of the best teams who have put their hearts out throughout the season are in for the last challenge of this season. Here is everything you need to know about the Game Changers 2023 event, including participants, schedule, format, dates, and how to watch the tourney!

Game Changers 2023 Schedule

The competition starts on November 28, and it will end on December 3. All the teams have already completed their journey to Brazil, this year’s VALORANT Game Changers home country. Teams will start their fight on November 28 with the Upper Bracket Quarterfinal games, and then they will move on according to the tournament format, which you can find below. The Upper Bracket Final will take place on November 2, and the Grand Final that will decide this year’s World Champion is on November 3. Below you can see the tournament openers:

  • Day 1 (November 28): Upper Bracket Round 1
  • Day 2 (November 29): Upper Bracket Round 1 & Upper Bracket Round 2
  • Day 3 (November 30): Lower Bracket Round 1 & Upper Bracket Round 2
  • Day 4 (December 1): Lower Bracket Round 2 & Lower Bracket Round 3
  • Day 5 (December 2): Lower Bracket Round 3 & Lower Final
  • Day 6 (December 3): Grand Final

Game Changers 2023 Format

As you may have guessed after seeing there will only be eight teams competing, the tournament will start directly from the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals stage, which means that there will not be a Group Stage. The format is double-elimination and all the matches will be Bo3, except for Lower Final and Grand Final games, as they will be Bo5. Game Changers 2023 is one of the biggest tournaments of the year with a $500,000 prize pool. The winner will take home a prize of $180,000, second team will win $110,000 and the third team’s prize is $80,000. Here are the prize distribution of the rest:

  • 4th: $50,000
  • 5-6th: $25,000
  • 7-8th: $15,000
