VALORANT introduces Miks: All abilities and information on the new VALORANT agent
Riot Games has officially unveiled Miks, VALORANT's brand-new Controller agent, dropping into the game on March 18, 2026, as part of the Season 2026 // Act 2 update. Revealed during the grand finals of VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Masters Santiago 2026, Miks brings a whole new sonic identity to the tactical shooter.
Who Is Miks?
Hailing straight from Croatia, Miks channels pure sonic energy onto the battlefield. Just like other controllers, his main objective is to conduct the tempo of the maps, coordinating his squad so everyone moves in perfect sync.
All Miks' abilities
Miks' full kit is built around sonic waves, battlefield utility, and squad empowerment, giving us a well-rounded Controller toolkit.
- Harmonize (Q): EQUIP Harmonize. Target an ally and FIRE to activate a Combat Stim on yourself and the ally that refreshes with each kill. ALT-FIRE to grant Combat Stim to yourself.
- M-Pulse (C): EQUIP M-pulse. ALT-FIRE to toggle between Concuss and Healing outputs. FIRE to throw the device. Upon landing, M-pulse sends out sound waves, either Concussing or Healing players.
- Waveform (E): EQUIP a Map Targeter. ALT-FIRE to set locations. FIRE to spawn Smokes at selected locations.
- Bassquake (X – Ultimate): FIRE to build up and unleash Sonic Radiance forward, knocking back, Deafening, and Slowing players.
A New Type of Controller
Miks brings something genuinely new to the Controller roster — he is the only Controller in VALORANT with a healing ability, making him just the third agent in the entire game capable of healing allies, after Sage and Skye.
However, his kit as a whole feels like a mishmash of ideas and abilities. The smokes and Combat Stim echo Brimstone's utility-heavy, team-buffing playstyle, while the concussion mode on the M-Pulse and the Bassquake draw clear comparisons to Breach's kit. Miks seems to be trying to fill two roles at once, and whether that makes him a jack-of-all-trades or a master of none is a question only the meta will answer.
VALORANT's Season 2026 // Act 2 and Miks officially go live on March 18, 2026.
