VALORANT Patch 10.05 is here, and so are Ranked Rollbacks! Riot Games continues the fight against cheating in VALORANT, this time awarding players with increased protection against cheaters.

After big changes to VALORANT to start the year with the addition of two new agents in Tejo and Waylay, Ranked Rollbacks turns yet another page for the game. Aside from this most welcome introduction, however, Patch 10.05 will see only a short list of bug fixes headed our way when the patch releases on March 19 across the world (March 18 for the Americas).

    Patch 10.05 Notes

    Ranked Rollbacks

    • If you have lost a match to a confirmed cheater, you will become eligible for an RR refund:

      • You will receive a pop-up notification detailing the exact amount of RR that will be refunded.
      • To receive the refunded RR, you must first complete one Competitive match.
      • After the match, the refunded RR will be reflected in the total RR gained or lost for that match.
    • Note: Ranked Rollbacks are only valid within the current Act. This means that you can't save a refund for another Act.

    Bug Fixes

    Raze

    • Fixed a bug where Blast Pack’s explosion was slightly smaller at the tip of the explosion since the explosion changes that went live in 10.03.

    Clove

    • Fixed a bug where Clove could take damage or die for a single frame upon reviving with Not Dead Yet.

    Sage

    • Resurrection: Fixed the same bug as Clove above where there was a single frame of vulnerability upon reviving a target.

    Tejo

    • Fixed a bug where Armaggedon’s danger indicator did not always apply on variable elevations.

    Iso

    • Fixed a bug where Double Tap’s HUD bar could look visually incorrect for spectators or observers Waylay.
    • Fixed a bug where there was a performance hitch upon casting Convergent Paths.
    • Fixed a bug where Convergent Paths was unable to be equipped during the buy phase.

    Breeze

    • Fixed a bug where abilities would ignore line of sight around crates on A Site.
    • Fixed a bug where flash abilities would be blocked in certain areas on the map.

    Sunset

    • Fixed a bug where players could not plant the Spike on the B Site crates inside of the plant zone.

    Social

    • Fixed an issue where in-game status and scores were not updating as frequently as they should in the social panel. Maps.

    CONSOLE ONLY

    General Updates

    • Remote Play for PS5 will be disabled until further notice while Riot Games investigates an issue. Further updates will come on future patch notes.

    Social

    • Fixed a bug where it would take several seconds to reconnect to comms when going back to the custom game lobby after match.

Without a doubt, the biggest announcement coming with Patch 10.05 of VALORANT will be the introduction of the Ranked Rollback feature. Though playing against cheaters will always prove to be a frustrating experience, the effects will certainly be minimized with this latest addition.
