VALORANT Patch 11.06: Replays are finally here
Riot Games has rolled out VALORANT Patch 11.06, and this update is a significant one. The long-requested Replay System is finally making its debut, alongside some bug fixes, bot bans, and performance improvements. Let’s break down everything included in the patch.
The Replay System Finally Arrives
Players can now relive their most clutch or critical moments thanks to the new Replay System. Replays are available for Competitive, Unrated, Swiftplay, and Premier matches, allowing both casual and competitive players to review games in detail. This feature has been one of the community’s most requested tools, especially for those looking to study gameplay, analyze strategies, or revisit highlights. Riot strongly recommends checking out the full FAQ to understand the system’s current capabilities.
Banwave Targets 40,000 Bots
VALORANT’s fight against cheaters continues with the latest Competitive update. Over the past six months, Riot has banned 40,000 bot accounts, aiming to improve the integrity of ranked games. This move is expected to reduce bot activity and ensure players encounter more authentic matches across all modes.
Agent Bug Fixes
PC-Specific Changes
For PC players, Riot has made significant performance adjustments. The RawInputBuffer setting, which was previously configurable, has now been permanently enabled and removed from the settings menu. Riot explains this decision as a way to improve performance consistency, ensuring better input responsiveness for all players.
Console-Specific Changes
Console players also received attention in Patch 11.06. A display issue affecting New Player Tips has been fixed, improving onboarding for newcomers.
However, some known issues remain: dropped weapons and the Spike are being incorrectly highlighted whenever players are nearby, rather than only when directly looked at. Riot has confirmed that this will be corrected in Patch 11.07.
VALORANT Patch 11.06 marks a milestone with the arrival of Replays, while Riot’s proactive bot bans and bug fixes continue to refine the gaming experience. With Patch 11.07 already lined up to address lingering console issues, players can look forward to more improvements in the coming weeks.
