Waylay, VALORANT's newest agent has become one of the toughest opponents to deal with due to her incredible ability kit and speed. Her dash, Light Speed, is one of the best ways to bypass any defensive setups on sites and clear space, and for defenders, it is a nightmare to deal with since she can fly on top and over multiple terrain and objects.

The only caveat with the ability is that there is a slight buffer between her last dash and when she is able to re-equip her weapon, giving players time to fight back and eliminate her when she has finished zooming around. It is a balanced interaction that gives opposing players a bit of counterplay against Waylay. However, a new interaction has been discovered that can effectively remove this buffer so that Waylay can immediately re-equip her weapon after dashing.

Broken squeeze toy?

At the start of the new year, Riot Games added a new cosmetic to the game. It is called a Flex, and comes in multiple forms, including a phone, a snowflake, and a a squeeze toy called Tactibear. While usually only used for cosmetic purposes with no strategic advantage involved, this Flex can be used to cancel the buffer between the end of Waylay's dash and her equipping her weapon.

As seen in the video provided, players simply have to use her dash, pull out their Flex, and switch to their weapon. They will immediately take out their weapon in a much faster time than letting Waylay equip her weapon by herself.

If players continue to use this interaction, Waylay will become even more of a hassle to deal with. The developers at Riot Games might jump into action once this swap interaction picks up steam, since it is a broken way to guarantee kills as Waylay. It also removes much counterplay against her since she'll be able to fight right after her dash making her one of the most deadly duelists on the roster.
