VALORANT surpasses 100 million registered users in China

Despite launching later in China than in other regions, VALORANT has reached an impressive milestone of 100 million registered users on its Chinese PC servers. To celebrate, Riot Games is giving away China-exclusive items to all players who complete at least one match on the server.

VALORANT China reaches 100 million users

Three years after its launch in China in 2023, VALORANT has surpassed 100 million registered users on the Chinese server.

To celebrate the milestone and thank its player base, Riot Games is hosting a special event from October 27 to November 27. Players who log in and complete at least one match during the event will receive a set of China-exclusive rewards, including a player card, stickers, and more.

The rewards will not be available to the global VALORANT player base.

VALORANT Mobile's growing success

These figures do not include VALORANT Mobile, which Riot Games tracks separately. Released exclusively in China in August 2025, the mobile version surpassed 100 million downloads across the country within its first year, marking another major milestone ahead of its global expansion.

Riot Games has yet to announce plans to expand VALORANT Mobile to other regions or provide a potential release window. Since its launch in China, the company has shared little information about a possible global rollout.

In China, several major esports organizations have already announced VALORANT Mobile rosters, hinting at the potential for a dedicated competitive scene. These include EDward Gaming, TYLOO, Wolves Esports, Titan Esports Club, and All Gamers.

This milestone and VALORANT Mobile's continued growth reflect China's massive player base, which actively participates in local fan activations and supports Chinese teams at major domestic and international tournaments, as seen at VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Champions Shanghai.

Tencent, Riot Games' parent company and VALORANT's publisher in China, has invested heavily in local marketing, stable server operations, and prominent promotion across Chinese gaming platforms.
