VCT Ascension Americas 2025 viewer's guide

VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Ascension Americas is kicking off, and nine teams from North America, Latin America, and Brazil are battling for one coveted spot in the VCT Americas 2026 season. The event runs from October 14 to October 26 at the Riot Games Arena in São Paulo, with a live audience present every day.

Teams

Each region is sending three teams to represent their scene:

• Brazil: Stellae Gaming, Team Solid, and RED Canids Kalunga
• LATAM: 9z Team, ShindeN, and 6Karma
• North America: TSM, ENVY, and Winthrop University

Format

Americas Ascension 2025 is split into three stages: Play-In, Swiss Stage, and Playoffs.

Play-In

Starting October 14, the third seeds from each region (RED Canids Kalunga, 6Karma, Winthrop University) will face off in a single round-robin. Each team plays one match against the others. The top two teams will move on to the Swiss Stage.

Swiss Stage

The format is the same used in both Masters tournaments in 2025. Teams with two wins qualify for the Playoffs, while teams with two losses are eliminated. Round 1 matchups are determined by random draw. After that, teams with the same record face off. All matches are best-of-three. In the end, four teams will advance to the Playoffs.

Playoffs

The final four enter a Double-Elimination Bracket. Lose twice and you're out. All matches are best-of-three, except for the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which are best-of-five.
