VCT Pacific 2026 Stage 2: The ultimate viewer's guide
The Pacific region gears up for another explosive split of VALORANT as VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Pacific Stage 2 kicks off this July. With Group Stage action set to take over Seoul's Sangam Colosseum, twelve of the region's best rosters will battle across a revamped format that funnels into Play-Ins and, ultimately, the Playoffs.
Add in four Challengers teams hopeful for a shot at glory, and Stage 2 promises high stakes all the way through. Here's everything you need to know about the format, groups, schedule, and where to catch every moment of the action.
Tournament Format Overview
VCT Pacific 2026 unfolds across three key phases:
- Group Stage: July 16 – August 9, 2026
- Play-Ins: August 13 – 24, 2026
- Playoffs: August 27 – September 6, 2026 Each stage carries its own bracket structure and stakes, culminating in qualification for Champions 2026.
Group Stage Format
The Group Stage features two Single-Round Robin groups of six teams each, with every match played as a Bo3. Standings within each group determine each team's path forward:
- 1st place: Bye directly into the Upper Bracket Semifinals of Playoffs
- 2nd place: Advances to Upper Bracket Round 1 of Playoffs
- 3rd & 4th place: Enter Play-Ins at Upper Bracket Round 2
- 5th & 6th place: Enter Play-Ins at Upper Bracket Round 1

Play-Ins Format
Play-Ins bring together 12 teams in a double-elimination bracket, all playing Bo3:
- 8 teams arrive from Group Stage (5th-6th and 3rd-4th placers from both groups)
- 4 teams arrive from Regional Challengers leagues
The four Challenger teams earning a straight shot into Play-Ins come from
- VCL 2026 - Southeast Asia: Split 2
- VCL 2026 - Japan: Season Finals
- VCL 2026 - Korea: Split 2
- VCL 2026 - Pacific: Last Chance Qualifier
The Play-Ins will decide how the teams are seeded for the playoffs:
- Top 2 teams advance to Upper Bracket Round 1
- 3rd & 4th placed teams start from Lower Bracket Round 1
Playoffs Format
The Playoffs follow a double-elimination bracket, with all matches played Bo3 except the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which step up to Bo5. Only the top 2 finishers punch their tickets to Champions 2026, making every match in this stretch a must-watch for seeding and survival.
Venue and Ticketing
Group Stage matches will be held live at Sangam Colosseum in Seoul (34 Sangamsan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul).
- Ticket sales open July 2 at 3:00 PM GMT+7 / 4:00 PM GMT+8 / 5:00 PM GMT+9:
- Non-Korean residents can purchase tickets via the official ticketing site (available in English and Japanese)
- Korean fans can buy through Interpark or Yanolja
- Mobile users in Korea can access the mobile ticketing page
Onsite fans can also visit the VCT Pacific fan space on the 11th floor to shop official Riot Games merch, meet mascots Tactibear and Wingman, and watch matches on the big screen.
Stage 2 Finals roadshow ticket details will be announced separately, so keep an eye on official VCT Pacific channels.
