Everything You Need to Know About Briar in League of Legends
One of the more recent champions to be added to League of Legends, Briar is one of the most unique champions you can play in the Jungle or the Top Lane. Here is everything you need to know about Briar in League of Legends.
Briar is a very high-skill ceiling champion who allows those who command her to play in a feast-or-famine playstyle. She can cut her enemies, making them bleed to death, and then leech off of them alongside this bleed.
With a lack of innate health regen in her kit, Briar is quite a risky champion to play, and if you aren’t used to her, there is a high possibility that you will run into enemies and just die. But if you can play Briar to her fullest, you will be slicing enemies left, right and centre in your ranked League of Legends matches.
Passive: Crimson Curse

Naturally, Briar’s basic attacks and abilities make any enemies they hit bleed for 5 seconds, which refreshes with every new hit on the target. This stacks up to nine times and deals up to 50 Physical Damage, plus 50% of Briar’s bonus AD. This damage stacks up to 150 Physical Damage plus 150% of her bonus AD, when the enemy has max stacks on them.
Briar also heals herself up to 25% of the damage dealt with her passive, meaning although she has no base health regen, she increases any other healing she gets by up to 40%, plus up to 2.5% of her missing HP for every 100 HP she heals!
Q: Head Rush

Briar launches herself at an enemy, dealing Magic Damage of up to 180, plus 80% of Briar’s bonus AD, and 60% of her AP.
She also applies on-hit effects and and stuns the enemy target for just under one second, whilst reducing their Armor and Magic Resistance for 5 seconds, for up to 20% at max rank.
W: Blood Frenzy

Briar dashes to her target location and if there's no enemy there she gains the ability of blood frenzy for five seconds. this means she can cast the second part of her W, Snack Attack.
Blood Frenzy allows Briar to break free from her free will, forcing the player to auto-attack the nearest enemy. This reveals the enemy and Briar is given the Ghosting ability, as well as bonus Attack Speed and Movement Speed, of up to 115% and 60% respectively.
Her basic attacks are also empowered to deal bonus Physical Damage to any enemies around her target, of up to 100% of her AD.
Within this Briar prioritizes champions, then large monsters, then minions, and then anything else. Briar can also cast her Q, Head Rush, and her R, Certain Death whilst using the dash part of this ability, but not if she is already locked onto a target.
Snack Attack is an active that Briar can use if she hits an enemy with Blood Frenzy, which empowers her next auto attack, giving her 50 bonus range, and dealing up to 65 bonus Physical Damage, plus 5% of her AD, plus 9% of the target's missing health - with this being increased by 2.5% per 100 bonus AD that Briar has.
Briar is also healed for 5% of her maximum health with up to 45% of the damage this ability deals.
E: Chilling Scream

Chilling Scream has Briar charge up for a second which increases the damage and range of this ability and gives her up to 35% damage reduction and heals her four times every second. each tick he was her for 4% of her maximum health, meaning she can be healed for up to 16% of her maximum health over the duration.
When Briar recasts this ability, or the channel duration ends, she screams in a direction that deals magic damage to 220 plus 100% of Briar’s bonus AD, plus 100% of her AP to enemies. It also slows them for 80% for half a second.
If she uses this ability for the full duration, enemies it hits a knocked back and if they hit terrain they will take bonus magic damage of up to 440, plus 240% of Briar's bonus AD and 240% of her AP, and they are knocked up for 0.5 seconds and stunned for 1.5 seconds.
R: Certain Death

Briar launches a projectile in a target direction which can travel across the whole map until it hits an enemy champion. This will then cleanse Briar of any Crowd Control, and forces her to dash towards the enemy champion.
When she lands, she explodes for up to 450 magic damage plus 50% of her bonus AD, plus 120% of her AP and fears all surrounding targets for 1.5 seconds, slowing them for 35%.
She also gains all of the effects of her W, Blood Frenzy on any feared targets, as well as up to 20% lifesteal, bonus armour and magic resistance. This is also stacked with up to 30% bonus movement speed on top of that too!
Briar is forced to attack and prioritize the target that she hit with her ultimate but after this target dies she prioritizes any champions she hit with the fear.
