Syndra Abilities, Build, Runes & Guides in LOL
Syndra is one of the best burst mages in the whole of League of Legends and is great at one-shotting enemies, so if you want to explode your enemies here is everything you need to know about Syndra in League of Legends.
The Dark Sovereign is a classic Mid Laner that is used at all League of Legends ranks, but has specifically excelled in pro play despite her relatively simple kit and abilities. This is because she has all the utility you need along with hard Crowd Control and a huge amount of damage.
When you first pick up the champion, she is very easy to learn and very easy to perform the fundamentals with, such as farming and getting kills, so here is exactly how she does all of that!
Passive: Transcendent

Syndra will naturally collect Splinters of Wrath that will enhance each of her abilities based on the number of stacks she has in this passive. This stacks up to 120 times meaning Syndra's got some stacking to do to get to her fullest.
Syndra can get stacks by:
- Dealing two separate instances of damage with her abilities to enemy champions within four seconds, granting her up to three Splinters based on her level.
- Levelling up and ability past level 1 gives 5 Splinters up to the maximum of 85 at level 18.
- Killing one large minion gives her 1 Splinter.
When Syndra hits 120 Splinters of Wrath she reaches Transcendence which increases her ability power by 15%. Any stacks that Syndra collects after reaching transcendence will not Grant her anymore stacks but will restore her mana for every stack she gains.
Q: Dark Sphere

Syndra spawns a dark ball of energy at the target location that appears just after a half-second delay, this deals Magic Damage of up to 215 plus 70% of Syndra's AP, and the dark sphere will then remain on the ground for six seconds.
When Syndra collects 40 Splinters of Wrath she can upgrade this ability to give it a transcendent bonus. This ability allows her to stack this ability to have two charges.
W: Force of Will

Syndra will grab the nearest dark sphere, enemy minion, or non-epic monster within the 500-unit range for 5 seconds.
Syndra can then recast this ability throwing whatever she is holding at the target location which grants vision over that area, and deals Magic Damage of up to 210 plus 65% of Syndra's AP, as well as slowing all targets that hit by 1.5 seconds for up to 45% at max rank.
To transcend this ability, Syndra has to collect 60 Splinters of Wrath which allows this ability to do 12% bonus true damage plus an extra 2% for every 100 AP that Syndra has.
E: Scatter the Weak

Syndra sends out a wave of force in a cone shape in front of her that deals Magic Damage are up to 235 plus 45% of her AP to all enemies that hit and knock them back from Syndra.
can also knock back dark spheres for double the distance and if any of these hit enemies, they are stunned for 1.25 seconds.
When this ability is transcended at 80 Splinters of Wrath, This ability is enhanced to have a wider cone and slows enemies for 70% if they are hit.
R: Unleashed Power

The passive of Syndra's ultimate ability increases the ability haste of her dark sphere by up to 30% when this ability is fully levelled out. the active allows Syndra to spawn three dark spheres and grab up to seven nearby dark spheres around her and then launch these at a chosen enemy champion.
Unleashed Power deals 100 / 140 / 180 (+17% of ability power) magic damage per sphere.
The minimum damage is 300 / 420 / 540 (+51% of ability power) magic damage.
When Syndra reaches 100 Splinters of Wrath this ability will execute the enemy champion if they are below 15% of their maximum health.
When was Syndra released in League of Legends?

Syndra has been in the game for quite a while now, being released onto the Rift in Patch V1.0.0.147, which was on September 13 2012.
Where is Syndra from in League of Legends?

Syndra is a champion that we don't actually have much lore about but we do know where she was born. She was born in Navori, in Ionia - which is actually where the item Navori Quickblades comes from!
She currently resides in the Fae’lor Castle in Ionia, but this rumour is a potential falsehood and incorrect information from the characters of the League of Legends lore.
Syndra’s Age in League of Legends

Syndra's age is something that we don't know, and this is listed as unknown. Whilst Syndra looks fairly young as a character design, we know with examples such as Gwen, that champions can look young but in reality, be well over a thousand years of age.
Syndra Build and Runes

When playing Syndra, the runes you want to take are Inspiration, followed by Sorcery.
Inspiration:
- First Strike
- Magical Footwear
- Minion Dematerializer
- Cosmic Insight
Sorcery:
- Manaflow Band
- Transcendence
Rune Stats:
- Attack Speed
- Adaptive Damage
- Health
For Syndra's items, make sure you build Luden's Companion first, then follow it up with Stormsurge and Shadowflame, then building Sorcerer's Boots, Rabadon's Deathcap and a Zhonya's Hourglass
Syndra’s Voice Actor in League of Legends

It is not just lore factors about Syndra that we know very little about, we actually don't know who her voice actress is. This is because she was created and published at a time when Riot Games was using unknown freelance voice actors for their champions.
This is, coincidentally, the same voice actress who voiced Evelynn before her rework.
Why is Syndra so powerful?
Syndra is powerful because her skills deal high damage and give her good control in fights. She can burst enemies and stop them from moving. Here are the main reasons:
- Her Q deals strong damage and comes back fast.
- Her W lets her throw orbs or minions at enemies.
- Her E stuns enemies when it hits an orb.
- Her R deals more damage when more orbs are on the field.
When you use her skills together, Syndra can win fights quickly and safely.
Who is Syndra in love with?
Syndra does not love anyone in the story. Her focus is on gaining power and staying free. She grew up alone and did not trust people around her. Riot Games never added a romance to her background. She wants to control her magic and keep her strength.
Is Syndra good in League?
Yes, Syndra is a strong mid-lane champion. She can clear waves, stun enemies, and deal burst damage. Her skills help in team fights and one-on-one fights. Players who learn her combos can carry games. She stays strong from early to late game.
Whilst we can't provide you with Syndra's age or her voice actress, what we can provide you with is a load of other champion guides for similar style champions if Syndra isn't quite doing it for you!
