The reigning VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021 champions, Acend have announced the arrivals of Ondřej "MONSTEERR" Petrů and Vakaris "vakk" Bebravičius. New transfers will fill the shoes of Santeri "BONECOLD" Sassi and Vladyslav "kiles" Shvets in the upcoming stage.

Acend have proved everyone wrong with surprisingly dominant performances last year. However, the European team’s performance this year looked far away from their dominant era. VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event was a disaster for Acend as they picked up two wins and faced three losses in the group stage, failing to see any playoff action. Moreover, they lost to BBL Esports in their final game of the group, the team only had one win until then which was against Papara SuperMassive. These problems pushed the board to make changes before the second stage.

Today they announced two new signings to the roster. First is Ondřej "MONSTEERR" Petrů, who has joined the team from GIANTX. He is known for playing Cypher, Killjoy, and Viper. He holds a solid 1.15 rating and a 1.27 K/D since the beginning of his career. Secondly, the Lithuanian player, Vakaris "vakk" Bebravičius has joined the big league from France, Team Vitality. He used to be the duelist of the French team, specializing in Jett and Raze. He will be the second Jett player on the team, alongside the Turkish superstar, Mehmet Yağız "cNed" İpek.

Acend’s new roster for the upcoming stage is as follows:

Turkey Mehmet Yağız "cNed" İpek Poland Patryk "starxo" Kopczynski Poland Aleksander "zeek" Zygmunt Lithuania Vakaris "vakk" Bebravičius Czech Republic Ondřej "MONSTEERR" Petrů
