The rough start to VCT 2022 - North America - Stage 2 - Main Event has pushed FaZe Clan to make a roster change before their match against Luminosity Gaming. Jake "POACH" Brumleve has been benched by the organization and the 18-year-old IGL, Xavier "flyuh" Carison has been moved back to the starting lineup.

FaZe Clan got swept in their opening game of the stage but it was against the VCT 2022 - Stage 1 - Masters Reykjavík winners, OpTic Gaming. Last night, FaZe’s POACH announced that he was benched by the team and he is now looking for a new organization to compete for. Just after his announcement, FaZe revealed from their official account that they have promoted flyuh back to their main roster. POACH had 20 kills against OpTic Gaming and held a 0.66 rating throughout the series on Sova and Breach.

flyuh joined FaZe a couple of months ago and appeared under the uniform during VCT 2022 - North America - Stage 1 - Open Qualifier 1. FaZe Clan had an unfortunate draw and faced The Guard which resulted in a 2-1 loss. Secondly, they failed to continue their way from the lower bracket after falling against Kansas City Pioneers. flyuh was a part of the roster during that time but was benched after the disappointing results. While he was away, he competed under the Nearest Airport uniform in NSG Summer Champs - Online Open 5. The youngster has held a 1.0 rating and a 1.03 K/D since the beginning of his career. He has played Sova 77 times and Killjoy 43 times.

FaZe Clan’s roster against Luminosity Gaming is:

United States Andrej "babybay" Francisty United States Quan "dicey" Tran United States Phat "supamen" Le Canada Kevin "POISED" Ngo United States Xavier "flyuh" Carison

United States Karim "Infamous" Mahmoud (Team Manager) United States Josh "jdm" Marzano (Head Coach) United States Addison "zecK" Gorzeck (Assistant Coach) United States Michael "Mas" Smith (Analyst)
