mibr have announced that Olavo "heat" Marcelo has been benched due to personal reasons. The Brazilian team will come up against Evil Geniuses on Saturday, and the sixth player André "Txozin" Saidel will step in to fill the five-man roster.

mibr are one of the VCT 2023 Americas League teams, but they haven’t been at their best forms since the start of the season. The Brazilian team is sitting at two wins and five losses, placed ninth on the leaderboard. They are only over KRÜ Esports, the only team in the league without a single win.

Last week, mibr looked lost against Cloud9, losing Split 13-5 and Lotus 13-4. Despite being the powerhouse of the organization, heat had one of his worst games, finishing the competition with only 16 kills and a poor 0.59 rating.

mibr lose main firepower

heat is one of the most important pieces of the mibr roster. He mainly plays Duelists, and his most picked Agent is Jett. The Brazilian player holds a 1.20 rating and a 1.29 K/D since the beginning of his career, on top of a 249.5 ACS. As seen in the statistics, he is the biggest weapon when it comes to firepower. However, mibr announced that he has been benched due to personal reasons.

Txozin, on the other hand, has a different role in the team. We have seen him play smoker Agents in the past, prime example being Omen. He had never played a game before for mibr, and this weekend will be his first appearance in the uniform. Additionally, this will also be his first appearance at the highest level of play.

With heat leaving the main roster, here is mibr's lineup and coaching staff against Evil Geniuses:

  • Brazil João "jzz" Pedro
  • Brazil Leandro "frz" Gomes
  • Brazil Mateus "RgLM" Rodigoli
  • Brazil Murillo "murizzz" Tuchtenhagen
  • Brazil André "Txozin" Saidel
  • Brazil Felipe "chivitz" Chivitz (Team Manager)
  • Brazil Matheus "bzkA" Tarasconi (Head Coach)
