Patch notes 5.03: Chamber, Neon and Jett get updates

The mechanics of the game changes according to the new patches and the newest patch includes huge changes that will affect three agents; Chamber, Neon, and Jett. Let’s take a deeper look into Patch Notes 5.03!

Agent Updates

The most important updates of the patch are about the agents, Chamber, Neon, and Jett. Chamber has received a huge nerf that might change its pick rate in the professional scene and here are the notes for the agent:

Chamber

Rendezvous (E)

  • Base Cooldown has been increased from 20s to 30s.
  • Recall Cooldown has been increased from 20s to 30s.
  • Whenever a Rendezvous anchor is destroyed, the new cooldown has been set to 45s.
  • Diameter size of the “ring” Chamber can stand that allows him to activate Rendezvous has been decreased from 21m to 15m.

Trademark (C)

  • Slow duration has been decreased from 9.5s to 6s.

Tour de Force (X)

  • Ultimate points required have been increased from 7 to 8.
  • Slow duration has been decreased from 9.5s to 6s.
  • Leg shot multiplier has been reduced from 1.0 to 0.85

Headhunter (Q)

  • Bullet cost has been increased from 100 to 150.

Neon

Overdrive (X)

  • Damage per shot has been reduced from 22 to 18.
  • Killzone has been increased from 15m to 20m.
  • Leg shot multiplier has been reduced from 1.0 to 0.85.
  • Headshot multiplier has been increased from 1 to 3.

Jett

Bladestorm (X)

  • Leg shot multiplier has been reduced from 1.0 to 0.85.

Gameplay System Updates

  • Ability to change “Ghost” outside of Custom Games has been added. This option can be found Settings > Controls > Actions

Bugs

Agents

  • An error regarding Jett’s Tailwind, switching weapons in the middle of the dash would cause the weapon pull out animation is fixed.

Gameplay Systems

  • A bug where some Reyna/Killjoy HUD elements were still visible after enabling Hide User Interface is fixed.
  • A bug where defuse animation wouldn’t consistently play if the orb is tapped in rapid succession is fixed.
