One of the most awaited news for the upcoming season was Sentinels’ roster. The organization has started to reveal its lineup by announcing the coaching staff. XSET’s NA-winner head coach Don "SyykoNT" Muir and Ghost Gaming’s Adam "kaplan" Kaplan will work under the SEN roof in the VCT 2023 Americas League. Sentinels have also parted ways with their head coach fomr last year, Shane "Rawkus" Flaherty.

Despite all the investments, Sentinels failed to match their previous performances in the 2022 season. The North American team looked really strong a year ago but they failed to attend any international tournaments throughout the VCT 2022 circuit. Lastly, the organization missed its chance to book a flight to İstanbul, for the VALORANT Champions 2022. It was obvious that they were going to make changes and the first news came for the coaching staff.

Syyko was a part of the XSET organization for the last two years. In 2021, they failed to achieve anything worthy but 2022 was the year of XSET. They won the VCT North America Challengers 2 to attend Masters Copenhagen and then to VALORANT Champions 2022. Syyko was the head coach of the team throughout the journey and he proved his capabilities, especially in the North American region. Kaplan will be his assistant or strategic coach in other words. Unlike Syyko, he doesn’t have any international experience but he was a crucial part of the Ghost Gaming coaching staff.

Sentinels might surprise us in the upcoming days as their roster is still not set. We now know their coaches but the lineup might be a lot different than expected. For now, their roster is:

Canada Tyson "TenZ" Ngo United States Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan United States Michael "dapr" Gulino

United States Don "SyykoNT" Muir (Head Coach) United States Adam "kaplan" Kaplan (Strategic Coach) United States Matthew "Weltis" Liu (Analyst) United States Kevin "Kez" Jeon (Manager)
